POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Location: DAR ES SALAAM
Reports to: FINANCE MANAGER
Department: FINANCE
JOB PURPOSE
Performance Areas/Accountabilities Key responsibilities
Financial Controlling
• Revenue Management and Opex Controlling
• Finalisation of accounts on a monthly basis
• Carry out reconciliation for various control accounts, general ledger vs subsidiary ledgers
• Review of reconciliations prepared by Accounts receivable team and accounts payable teams. Review of Cash & Bank recon on a weekly/monthly basis
• Regular review of ledger accounts to ensure proper accounting of expenses
• Maintenance of fixed asset register, ensure compliance and controls around CAPEX management.
• Play a key role in period closing procedures
Financial & Management Reporting
• Support the Financial Controller Team in preparing monthly financial report to be submitted to management
• Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts
• Preparation of monthly budget vs actual trends
• Preparation of monthly business forecast reports
• Preparation of monthly variance report for revenue and Opex
• Preparation of annual budgets and management presentations
Tax & statutory compliance
• VAT reconciliation
• Ensure timely submission of various statutory returns
• Ensure reconciliation of various tax/legal records with government authority’s records. Ensure compliance of Income tax regulations pertaining to WHT, PAYE while making payments to vendors and consultants.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Qualified in either ACA/ ACCA/ CPA
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power point.
• Working knowledge on ERP system like Oracle, SAP will be an added advantage.
Experience:
• 2- 5 years working experience in a similar position

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Global Skill on behalf of a client who is in the Electronic industry is announcing a post of an Office manager in Mwanza. The job entails the following:
Providing administrative support to Company and ensuring smooth running on the company operations Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the incoming guests and other senior staff.
Designing and implementing office policies
Supervising other office staff including cooks, cleaners, and national drivers
Maintaining regional vehicle fleet schedule and organizing for vehicle maintenance
Maintaining office equipment
Reviewing and approving supply requisitions
Liaising with other agencies, organizations,subordinates on behalf of the company
Updating company /staff contacts and information.
Maintaining office security
Maintaining office records
Managing filling systems both manual and electronic as well as frequently updating them.
Ensure maximum safety of the records.
In addition to the above duties the employee may be required from time to time to undertake additional duties as assigned to him/her by the employer.
The employee shall report to the Regional Manager.
Required Skills & Experiences:
2 years of active work experience of similar position in a reputable organization.
Pays attention to details
Excellent command and understanding of computer office application packages
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounts, or any related field
Any additional training in marketing/administration/customer care/public relations will be an added advantage
Ability to work in a team and independently based on task given.
Experience working in a fast growing and high pressure work setting
Willingness to work for long hours as business demands, including late nights,weekends.
NB:The applicant should be living in Mwanza and knowledgable about the logistics of the locality.
